Electric Love, billed by its organisers as Austria's largest electronic music festival, takes over the Salzburgring circuit, twenty minutes from Salzburg, from 8 to 10 July 2027: around 200 artists across seven stages, 4pm to 4am each day, with a Warm-Up Party on Wednesday 7 July. EDM, hard dance, hard techno, bass music and hip-hop share the bill, announced in phases. Four campsites sit next to the grounds, and a free shuttle links it to Salzburg station.
Electric Love Festival takes place from Thursday 8 to Saturday 10 July 2027 at Salzburgring, Salzburg, Austria, across 3 days. The line-up has not been published yet: we add it as soon as the promoter announces it. It is one of 19 EDM, Techno, Hardstyle, House and Trance dates we list in Austria over the coming months.
Line-up to be announced.

A motor-racing circuit at the foot of the Alps, twenty minutes from Salzburg: since 2013 the Salzburgring has turned every early July into what its organisers call Austria's largest electronic music festival.
The first edition ran from 12 to 14 July 2013 at the Salzburgring, a circuit opened in 1969 between Koppl and Plainfeld, in the Lake Fuschl region, which had already hosted the Frequency festival from 2001 to 2008. Some 20,000 people came to see David Guetta, Steve Angello, Hardwell, Steve Aoki and W&W.
Attendance doubled in 2014 and settled at around 45,000 people per edition until 2019. On 11 July 2015 a lighting tower collapsed in gusts of 78 km/h, killing a 23-year-old visitor from Koppl. The 2020 edition was cancelled and the 2021 one replaced by a late-August "Boutique Edition", before the full format returned in 2022. In October 2024 the contract with the circuit was extended up to and including 2030.
The festival runs from Wednesday to Saturday: a Warm-Up Party on Wednesday evening, then three days from 4pm to 4am. At sunset on Thursday the Opening Ceremony launches the Mainstage, a 17-minute show bringing together more than a hundred musicians, dancers and technicians, created every year by Salzburg artists with orchestras and choirs. Each edition has its motto, #ColorfulPlayground in 2022 or #LoveResonates in 2025.
The organisers report 180,000 visitors across all days and a sold-out festival every year; in 2026 they came from more than 80 nations, and the 13th edition was marked by Swedish House Mafia's appearance. Ranked 23rd in DJ Mag's Top 100 Festivals in 2022, Electric Love reached 11th place in 2026, the best result in its history.

On Thursday evening, once the sun has set behind the hills, the Mainstage opens with a 17-minute show of lasers, pyrotechnics and live musicians. In 2026 it was produced by Salzburg's own Dan Lee and RageMode.

The hard dance stage, beyond 150 BPM, with daily "No Boundaries" slots where hardstyle and hard techno meet, and a "Halftime Ceremony" on Friday. A space-shuttle set in 2026.

The rising-talent stage, between EDM and hip-hop, with daily "Power Hour" sets and the Saturday "DJ WG Abriss".

Four campsites sit next to the infield (Basic, Pre-Pitched with tents already up, Caravan and Comfort) and work like a small town: a 24-hour supermarket, a Marketplace, the Napoleon Grill Area, hot showers and a stage of their own, the Gasteiner Infinity Stage.

Three raised platforms facing the Mainstage (Bronze, Silver, Gold, each with its own bar), the covered CUPRA Platin VIP Lodge, for over-18s only, and the Diamond Sky Boxes with their terrace.
Electric Love brings together around 200 artists across seven stages and covers much of party-minded electronic music: EDM and big room on the Mainstage, hard dance at Hard Dance Valley, raw hardstyle, hardcore, uptempo and frenchcore at the Shutdown Stage, EDM and hip-hop at the Heineken Starclub. Club Circus changes colour every day, with the "FCK Genres" warm-up on Wednesday, bass music on Friday and hard techno on Saturday; the BlueBoXX is handed each day to a DJ close to the festival, and the Nordic Spirit Hut chalet plays hits from the 90s and 2000s.
In 2026 Swedish House Mafia played one of only two festivals of their year on Thursday, Armin van Buuren and HUGEL on Friday, Paul Kalkbrenner and BUNT. on Saturday, alongside KSHMR, Dimitri Vegas, John Newman and DJ Diesel, alias Shaquille O'Neal. The 2027 bill is announced in phases and has not been published yet.
