Sven Väth

Born in 1964 in Obertshausen, near Frankfurt, he opened the Omen club in 1988 and founded the labels Eye Q (1991), Harthouse (1992) and then Cocoon Recordings (1999). His techno, run through with trance and ambient, is heard on the album Accident in Paradise (1992). He held the Monday-night Cocoon residency at Amnesia in Ibiza from 1999 to 2018.
