Armin van Buuren
Armin van Buuren is a Dutch DJ and producer born in Leiden in 1976, a central figure in trance. He started DJing at Club Nexus in 1996 while studying law at Leiden University. His radio show "A State of Trance", launched in March 2001, is broadcast in 84 countries. He founded the independent label Armada Music, topped DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs poll five times between 2007 and 2012, and was appointed Officer of the Order of Orange-Nassau in 2011.
