Jeff Mills, born 18 June 1963 in Detroit, is an American DJ, producer and composer, also known as "The Wizard". In the late 1980s he co-founded the Underground Resistance collective with Mike Banks and Robert Hood, then left for a solo career and started his label Axis Records in 1992. He was awarded the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in 2017.
