Acid Arab are a French electronic group formed in Paris in 2012 by DJs Guido Minisky and Hervé Carvalho, later joined by Pierrot Casanova, Nicolas Borne and keyboard player Kenzi Bourras. The project grafts Middle Eastern and Amazigh rhythms and melodies (Algerian raï, Egyptian chaâbi) onto a base of acid house and techno. They record for the Belgian label Crammed Discs, home to "Musique de France" (2016) and "Jdid" (2019), after early records on Versatile. They have worked with Omar Souleyman, Rachid Taha and Les Filles de Illighadad.
