Benny Rodrigues is a Dutch DJ and producer born in Rotterdam in 1982, of Portuguese descent. Under his own name he plays house and tech house; since 2011 he has used the alias ROD for his techno productions, described as deep and repetitive, drawing on Detroit, Berlin, acid and dub. His "Malmok" EP came out on Ben Klock's Klockworks label, and he has since released on CLR, M_nus and Drumcode. He is known for marathon sets, notably at Berghain and Trouw.
