Space 92 is the techno project of Mathieu Mourareau, a French producer who grew up in Carcassonne. After roughly a decade as Matt Minimal, he launched Space 92 in 2019 with "Another Galaxy": melodic, trance-leaning techno with distorted percussion and synth pads fed by 1980s science fiction. "Planet X", with The YellowHeads, spent seven weeks at number one on Beatport's techno chart, where he was the best-selling techno artist of 2020.
