Modeselektor
Modeselektor is a German electronic duo made up of Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary, who met in Berlin in 1992 at the illegal parties that followed the fall of the Wall. Their name comes from a function on the Roland Space Echo tape unit. Signed to BPitch Control from 2000, they released Hello Mom! (2005) and Happy Birthday! (2007), which features Thom Yorke, then founded their label Monkeytown Records. With Apparat they form the group Moderat.
