Maribou State
Maribou State is an English electronic duo made up of Chris Davids and Liam Ivory, from Berkhamsted in Hertfordshire, where they met at school. They debuted in 2011 with the EP Habitat on FatCat Records, then signed to Counter Records, an imprint of Ninja Tune. Their albums Portraits (2015), Kingdoms in Colour (2018) and Hallucinating Love (2025) blend house, soul and guest vocals, including Holly Walker and Khruangbin.
