Born in 1978 in the United States and raised between Dallas and Miami, Eric Estornel produces as Maceo Plex, Maetrik and Mariel Ito, mixing house, techno and electro. His first album "Life Index" came out on Crosstown Rebels in 2011; he went on to run his own labels Ellum Audio and Lone Romantic, home to "Journey to Solar" (2016), "Solar" (2017) and "Mutant Series" (2019). Since 2016 he has hosted his Mosaic by Maceo night at Pacha in Ibiza. He now lives in Barcelona.
