GusGus are an Icelandic electronic group founded in Reykjavík in 1995, initially as a film and acting collective. Their output moves between techno, house, downtempo and ambient, from the first album Polydistortion (1997) to Arabian Horse (2011), their highest-charting record. They have released on 4AD, then Kompakt and their own Oroom label, and have remixed Björk, Depeche Mode and Sigur Rós.
