Donato Dozzy

Donato Dozzy, born Donato Scaramuzzi, is an Italian DJ and producer from Rome who has been playing records since the early 1980s. He is known for a hypnotic, slowly unfolding strain of techno shaped by residencies at Rome's Brancaleone and Berlin's Panorama Bar, where he handled the after-hours from 2004 to 2006. He co-founded the Aquaplano label with Nuel in 2008 and later Spazio Disponibile with Neel, and released his first solo album, "K", on Further Records in 2010. His Voices from the Lake project with Neel put out a widely praised self-titled album in 2012.
