Dimitri From Paris
Dimitrios Yerasimos, born in Istanbul in 1963 to Greek parents and raised in Paris, started out on radio, Radio 7, then NRJ, where he hosted a show until 1998. A house producer and DJ, he released the albums Sacrebleu (1996) and Monsieur Dimitri's De-Luxe House of Funk, scored runway shows for Chanel, Gaultier and Lagerfeld, and has specialised in disco reissues and remixes, notably for the BBE label. He was made a Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres in 2005.
