Barbara Butch
Barbara Butch, born Leslie Barbara Butch on 17 March 1981, is a French DJ and lesbian activist. She grew up in Paris in a Jewish family, first ran a restaurant in Montpellier, then took up residence behind the decks of Paris's queer and alternative venues: Rosa Bonheur, La Machine du Moulin Rouge, Glazart. Her sets mix house, disco, funk and pop; she received the 2021 Out d'or award for LGBTI personality of the year.
