Lil Texas is an American producer and DJ, born in Dallas and based in Los Angeles, who trained at Berklee College of Music. He pushes hardcore past 200 BPM and coined the name "texcore" for his style: old-school gabber influence, melodies and breakdowns inherited from early hardcore, synth stabs and horror samples. The rhinestone-cowboy look is part of the package, as are his Texcore EPs.
