She came through 1970s hard rock, then funk, soul and synth-pop, before turning to Detroit techno, minimal and acid under the influence of Jeff Mills, Robert Hood, Richie Hawtin and K-Hand. She built her modular practice after fifty and made her Awakenings Upclose debut in spring 2026.
