Sub Focus, real name Nicolaas Douwe Douwma, is an English producer and DJ born on 13 April 1982 in Guildford, Surrey. Spotted by Andy C, he signed to Frequency and then RAM Records, where "X-Ray" (2005) made his name. His fourth album, "Evolve", was released on 12 May 2023.
